I had that happen with Dark Forces and Blood back in the 90s. Good times.

Warcraft II and Starcraft. I was addicted to both of those.
Ah, musicians we never should have liked...
Journey != hair band.
You do know that no one said they were, right?
AmyLiz, I'm trying to remember the names in the TV movie, and am a little confused. I think Virginia never lived in the house, but almost slept with the husband of the second couple to move in. That wife killed herself--perhaps as a response to the near infidelity, and certainly related to her house-exacerbated despair over her son being killed in Iraq. The first couple--the husband shoves his pregnant wife down the stairs and she loses the baby. The third couple happens like you said--control freak, party, and the wife kills him and herself. Col and Walker adopt the kid. Also, the architect comes back and buys the house. Col and Walker go in to destroy it, and end up killing him in the explosion.
My addictions were Starcraft and Diablo II, but Starcraft was the one that wouldn't go away when I shut my eyes.
Just found the Twelve Days of Starcraft on YouTube. Good times.
Good lord, I let you people alone for one night, and you're discussing Journey? I am so so disappointed in you all. Go to your rooms and think about your actions. Tssk. Just wait til I tell your father.
Liese tells the best voting stories!
Kat, go nap.
sarameg, as if. at 7:00 PM, it's no longer a nap. It's go to bed for the evening.

That's not as different as I would have guessed then, ita. Although obviously Iraq wasn't a plot point in the book. Still, the lips! It was too hard to watch. You get many good friend points for getting all the way through it for Colin's sake.
I remember when LFB was really young and really pretty. Sad.
Belated Happy Birthdays, CaBil and Erika!
I think of Journey as more "arena rock." Which places them more with Styx, REO Speedwagon, earlier Aerosmith, Billy Squier.
The Journey song I will always love is "Feelin' That Way". And my secret shameful love for REO Speedwagon (the music of eighth grade!) knows no bounds.
I don't remember that Journey song, AmyLiz, which actually surprises me, but yes oh yes word to 8th grade REO Speedwagon lurve.
Heard it from a friend who...
