Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I still stand by the John Taylor adoration.

What show is this? I might need to watch. Because I do loves me some Nick as well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's a just-ending VH1 100 Most Awesome 80s Songs thing.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Journey is Hair Band?

Gotta love the West coast delay sometimes. Thanks!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, I was totally thinking about why I preferred John Taylor before this conversation. He was sort of quiet and mysterious. Also tall. Never was into the androgyny thing.

Heaven is a Funky Moose...

John Taylor is really low down on my list of "not androgynous", even when compared to the others in the band (tripod--might require pasting the link into a new window).

What is even happening?

Journey is Hair Band?

Not really, but they were huge in the 80s [link] In addition to Don't Stop Believing, they did songs such as: Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'; Lights; Who's Crying Now, Send Her My Love; Open Arms (ubiquitous prom song); and Faithfully (ditto).

Most of the US music that's very absent in my data banks is Hair Band, so I guessed at Journey belonging in that group. Not sure why the band never percolated through into my Top of the Pops. None of those songs seem familiar.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

None of those songs seem familiar.

Lucky you.
