Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have no shame—Ben McKenzie doing the Tyler Durden thing is enough to get me watching.
Holy numminess, Batman. I need to start watching again.

I already "watch" Smallville by skipping only to bits with Lex in it. Praise be the dvr for it lets me have the pretty and skip much of the stupid. Now on The OC as well.

Ben McKenzie doing the Tyler Durden thing ... I'll be in his bunk.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Speaking of the OC, my DVR is telling me it's on Wednesday this week. Is that the new day? That would help me.

Edit: The website tells me it's a "two night event." [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jesse, insent a moment ago.

I have 2 and a half of the 5 tasks on my to do list done, but now my body is screaming for a nap, so I may listen to it.

Hooray naps!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Great. Can't find my wallet. I was so sure I had merely left it at home in an obvious place.

Now starts the manhunt.

Happy birthday, CaBil!

ita's crazy-ass laundry neighbors are, well, crazy-ass. Dude. I hope you explained the entirety of the crazy to the manager. Cause...damn. Also, if there is a laundry basket *there*, and an EMPTY dryer? Fuckin' use the empty dryer, and if you need two, wait a few minutes on the second one, then put the shit in the basket. Common laundry sense.

Also, Sarameg, I'm sorry about your brother--would love to hear more (but not get him in trouble). And let me suggest that if it's pharma research for a company (but not at the company), the company may not be *happy* to hear about misdoings, but they'd generally much rather *know*, and be able to put the smack down/call the FDA/not use that bit of data. (If it's research at the company, well, then it probably depends on what the story is, whether it's fucked up company or just fucked up individual)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Cleaned the bathroom, done most of laundry, and then we PWNED shopping. Due to diligent use of store returns, 20% off coupons, and an eagle eye for clearance items, we got a new quilt, pillow shams, a purty decorative pillow and a complete set of glasses to replace our 10 from several mismatched sets for a mere outlay of $45. Bed, Bath and Beyond is our bitch, baby!

Now back to cleaning.

So random: I think it was here that we were commenting on a resurgence of interest in "Don't Stop Believing," and couldn't figure out why it was? I just learned off VH1 that it was because the song was in the show Laguna Beach. FYI.

C'est quoi, cet "Don't stop believing"?

meara, the building manager apologised to me for last night, which was reassuring. She's not one of the crazy.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Happy birthday, CaBil!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I now have 4 loads of laundry in. I went down earlier, but all the washer were full. done, but full still. I chose NOT to get all crazy-ita-neighbor on them and I just came back up stairs.

Do any of the quilters on the board do old-style scrap quilts? I have some clothing in vintage cotton that are ready to go away and quilts is the only thing I can think they'd be good for.
