"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I want to have navy blue hair. But I will be strong and merely bleach it.

Dude, you're unemployed. Now is the optimal time for blue hair.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dude, I'm interviewing around for a much-needed job. Now is the sub-optimal time for blue hair.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Nude Couple's Feud Ends at Waffle House

The woman, who was not identified, told officers she was staying in a room with Larry Boyd when he took a hit of cocaine, started trashing their room and choked her.

She ran in the buff to the nearby restaurant and locked herself in the bathroom. Boyd, also naked, followed her into the restaurant and then fled in a car.

He was arrested -- still naked -- after a short chase by police and was charged with driving under the influence and felony evading arrest, among other charges. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney.

He fled in a car? Where was he keeping the keys?

Just watched the first episode of this season's OC. The funny is not back in the county yet.

That having been said, I have a trivial set intersection squee about the show: Cage match! Overhand right! It's somehow sad that I'm the only person I know squeeing that particular squee.

But I'm not going to let that detract.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just watched it, too! And was really grateful to have the Daily Show to cheer me up, after. I have a question for you: Would anyone actually be interested in fighting, or watching a fight with, someone who wasn't fighting back? That's what was supposed to be happening before, right?

Sadly, Jesse, yes. And every reason why I can think of is disturbing.

Episode two is up on MSN. But, true to the M of it all, I can't watch it on my Mac. And watching it on my PC isn't that much fun. I have to think about re-prioritising that Thursday slot.

Okay, off to nap and then I will bleach my hair.

I swear.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle's idea of not doing much is my idea of a very full day. Today I went to stretch class, went to Venice beach with the family for pizza and coffee, put kids down for naps, failed to get any grading done before Isaac awoke, took care of kids, collapsed, and made dinner.

I am vaguely worried about the collapsing with fatigue thing since the last time that happened I was pregnant, and I really wasn't planning on being pregnant right now. Hmm, I'm going with overtired plus stretch class.
