I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Definite thumbs up to the whole situation. He was actually making mixed drinks, too.

I wish there were a guy in my kitchen making drinks and whatnot.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He could bring snacks as well.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Numb3rs: How much do I love that David and Colby were doing a stakeout in Lover's Lane, and that the end of their conversation was "Seriously?"... "Seriously"

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Numb3rs had a nice little shout-out for Judd Hirsch at the end. The theme from Taxi was playing from his television in the background. Awwwww.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Just made a token appearance at a krav birthday shenanigan (I am so lucky to have a consistent ride who's perfectly willing to bail when I look shaky). I can't believe I introduced body shots to so many adults. Second hand, of course, since I wore a turtleneck after the Halloween cleavage fiasco of ought six.

Okay, off to nibble bagels and stare at NUMB3RS or BSG.

What is even happening?

Doogie's gay!
He and Willow will be so happy.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Mornin' Cindy.

Drafting and entertaining cats at the same time is a challenge. Gilda will sit back and observe, but Rosie wants to help. Or take the pencil.

I think I can get 2 hours of shut-eye before I need to be up again.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Is LJ being impossible to load for anyone else out there?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Gronklies!

I worked til past seven, and was so tired of looking at computer screens that I watched some SciFi and went straight to bed. So the last 18+ hours of Natter will be forever a closed book to me. And inasmuch as there's work ahead for me today, there's more likelihood I'll be skipping again.

It's our Go-Live weekend -- for which we've been preparing (by my count) for two years actively, and three years if you count all the planning that was carefully done and then thrown out by new management who decided to use cheap offshore developers....

Not that I'm bitter or anything. The non-bitterness is also helped by the knowledge that the above New Management have all left before the project was done and we seem to have more savvy ones again. Who got handed a royal mess.

Okay, definitely bitter. But actually kind of eager to get this damn weekend over with.
