Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Very freaky way to start the day.
My dreams of living on a boat just came face to face with the reality that I am phobic about sharks. Curses!

Though I have gotten better since I started diving. Maybe my dream can yet live.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I just solved a problem that people have been complaining about for weeks!

The cause? The config file had an extra space in it!

That means I don't have to do any more work today, right?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That means I don't have to do any more work today, right?

Either that, or it means you go nuts, deleting spaces from files left and right....

I think it's in both yours and your employer's interest that you do no more work today....

Now tagless for your comfort.

My day started by taking two babies in for flu shots. I'd rather face sharks without benefit of coffee. I do think living on a boat would be really cool but I do have slight water phobias which would probably make it the wrong choice for me.

Librarian Warlord

He claims that he never used the meth, that the threw it away. @@

It reminds me of the "but I didn't inhale" excuse. "Sure, I bought the drugs and I paid a male prostitute to rub his hands all over me, but ..."

Maybe my dream can yet live

Sources say YES it CAN! Frankly, that's the biggest shark I've ever seen up this far into the channel... usually they are the little baby ones. And not even those very often. After 2 years we've only gotten 2 sea lions, a couple of good-sized rays and now this shark.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

why would you buy meth if you weren't going to use it?

I know! He thinks that by admitting to the meth and some "innocent' contact with the prostitute, he can deny the rest of the allegations. He's going to go into rehab soon, mark my words.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Skipping then going back to work to say

WOOHOO!!!!!! (multiplied by lots and lots) for Mac and MsBelle

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That means I don't have to do any more work today, right?

Yes it does.

We just came across someone in the files who spells her first name with a lower case letter. My coworkers were like, "WHY?!?" I confessed to knowing someone else who spells her name that way, but not the exact "why" of it. I said she just likes it. Right, ita?

slight water phobias

I dunno, I do too a bit, and it doesn't seem to bug me until we go out into the open ocean. Then I'm mostly worried about the kids puking, so I don't get much time to worry about it (but everyone - including the DH and the cats - has to have their life jacket on while we are under way.) On the dock, you don't even feel that you're on the water until you look outside at something stationery, and see that you're gently moving.
