Angel: You know, I killed my actual dad. It was one of the first things I did when I became a vampire. Wesley: I hardly see how that's the same situation. Angel: Yeah. I didn't really think that one through.

Macy's is fine. I hold nothing against it as a store. Just some of their business decisions haven't benefited my shopping community at this point. Other department stores are supposed to move into the vacanted locations, but they haven't yet. The changeover wasn't at all seamless and in fact, trashed the OM Hecht's property during it. Think a Marshall's of TJMaxx during back-to-school. Like a bomb hit, with no real discounts. Last time I ventured in, it wasn't that much improved.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay! I'm not alone!

Not at all.

What is even happening?

I just found out that our library has online renewals. There is no longer any excuse for any more late library fees. This is freakin' awesome.

I was reading too quickly and thought you were telling us your library had a Lush store in it. Now that would be cool.

...

I've never cared for Macy's and am bummed that Filene's is gone, but losing Jordan Marsh hurt more. They supplied uniforms in the Civil War and had the city's first recruitment center.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, my. Watching Nip/Tuck. Is my rep that bad? At least, I'm assuming that this reveal (uh, that I kinda saw coming, but I swear it's because I was prepped) is what brought me to mind. I hope there's nothing more...

Because books.

losing Jordan Marsh hurt more. They supplied uniforms in the Civil War and had the city's first recruitment center

That is so cool! And, now, kind of sad.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yes, ita, that's the scene.

OK, since the intro of the new insulin routine, MK has not peed in front of the box. I WAS RIGHT. Sucks the 2x a day routine but hell, not like I had a life in the interim, but I really though that was the source.

Of course, he'll now go pee on the puppy pads overnight.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

NICE. You can get a hotel room, missy.

i'm sorry.

msbelle, I will be able to fill you in on CM by the time you get up tomorrow.

Count me on on the ATNTM crack train, even if it is newly found.

Whee! TV.

brillig

Booth, you horndog!

not Cam! Yes, it's a mistake!! Bones practically said "Available for dealing with those urges, buddy"! Your eyebrow twitched intriguingly.

Idiot.

By the way, for those watching later? This one could have used a "do not eat dinner while watching." I had to avert my eyes a couple of times.

I definitely got "He's such a woobie!" moments during this episode. Damn, that DB is a hottie, especially when he has those sexy, vulnerable moments.
