"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I will vibe smooth court thoughts in the morning.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY! I found the thing I bought in Denver that I thought I had lost. Maybe now I will even mail it.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

good court thoughts

I watched Bones tonight. Matt likes it - which I didin't think he would. But it works as a show he can watch without too much investment. I did not see the previews, but - from what I read here - yay!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

God, I'd have been grounded and punished and never been allowed to watch TV, talk to friends on the phone, or... much of anything if I'd ever done anything juvenile delinquenty that resulted in a visit from the cops. Seriously.

No kidding. I mean, I was fairly destructive kid/teenager, but I limited myself to destroying my own property or garbage. Still, the cops tend to be concerned about things being set on fire in vacant lots. (Note to future generations, if your friend decides to light a yellow jacket nest on fire, just go home. Standing back fifty feet or so is not nearly far enough.) Even though I never harmed other people or their property, getting caught even for that stuff would have gotten me deep in trouble. Let alone anything worse.

That said, I did get some talking to by cops on a couple occaisions with my friends (mostly for hanging out in parks or whatnot after dark) but they were always a check ID, get told we're not supposed to be there after dark and get sent on our merry way. Had a cop actually showed up at our house, I would have never been able to leave my room for any reason other than going to school until I was 18.

ETA: In dinner news, I forgot to buy sour cream and didn't have any spicy cheese, so I ended using the tortillas and chicken to make really crappy soft-shell tacos. Will try making quesadillas some other time.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

3/4s of the way through CSI, and I want to go watch Firefly, or maybe Knight's tale.

CSI: Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to fall asleep to an FF ep tonight. Brain cleanser.

The man sure has talent, though .

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

brrrrrrrr

I had to choose between buying new shoes and a new coat with my birthday money. I guess it's time to pull out the crappy old coat.

I spent my day in Peter Pan chaos. I have such a wierd job.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Definitely talented, Jenp.

Definitely weird, Aurelia.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I ate vegan tonight. As opposed to eating a vegan, which I'd highly recommend if your plane crashes in the Andes. Less gamey than the alternatives.

Not something I was especially up to, having spent all day horizontal with a migraine, but I was lured into it by not having to drive.

I have an issue (a beef?) with having "orange chicken" or "pepper steak" on a vegan menu. Free yourself from the oppression of the meat eaters and use your own terms. The "orange chicken"? Tasty. Just not chicken. So don't call it that.

The worst part of what I ate was the pancake with margarine smothered on. It was the margarine. Next time, no.

Wishing good thoughts for you, msbelle.

Now to evaluate my TV options. I took an Ambien to get to sleep despite the pain last night, and I deleted stuff off my TiVo that I have no recollection of watching. That shit is dangerous.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The veg "meat food" bugs me as well. I even eat some of them happily and by choice, but as a separate and different foodstuff (animal?) altogether.

Now to evaluate my TV options. I took an Ambien to get to sleep despite the pain last night, and I deleted stuff off my TiVo that I have no recollection of watching. That shit is dangerous.
It's Ambien roulette. Usually you just sleep. Sometimes you clean, so yay the bonus clean house when you wake up. And sometimes? The tv forgets too. That option sucks.
