More than that if you have to transfer busses, or take a bus and a train.
Totally. The 30-Day Pass is tempting me.

Cookery types--if I use sour cream instead of yoghurt when making banana bread, what are the likely effects? Should I bump up the baking powder to compensate for slightly less acidity? Bump up the liquids to compensate for the thicker texture?
So does the conversation between two conservative coworkers talking about the evils of socialized medicine and "cut and run" qualify as workplace harassment?
I think I'd take "cut and run" over "stay and pray", but I think there are other options.
ita, I've never put either in my banana bread. Do you use yogurt instead of eggs?
ita, I've swapped them one-for-one and not altered anything else with no problems, but not with banana bread (because I don't like banana bread).
Do you use yogurt instead of eggs?
No--it's the main liquid in the recipe, plus with the baking soda accounts for the leavening.
I think that you can go one for one, but I've never tried it in baking, only savoury dishes. Baking has that weird chemistry element.
I think I'll just add a bit of milk to keep the texture consistent. It gets a little heavy in that recipe anyway.
Oh, sadness.
Emmy award winner Eddie Izzard is no longer part of the hit TV drama 24 - after completing only one day of filming. The cross-dressing comedian quietly parted with the show and is currently working on his upcoming TV series The Riches with fellow Brit Minnie Driver, which was picked up by the FX network in September. Izzard has been replaced by British actor David Hunt, husband of former Everybody Loves Raymond star Patricia Heaton. Hunt will take over the role and play a villainous accomplice on the show named McCarthy.
Also, for Buffistas who rent: approximately how much of your monthly income do you spend on rent? And how much is too much?
Mine is 25% of my takehome. That includes heat and parking but not electric.
ita, I use milk in my banana bread, so that should work for you.
Speaking of saving, I need to get around to buying a Chicago Card, because saving 50¢ a day eventually leads to something significant.
Hey, it's a coffee once a week (unless you go to *$'s). I also got an I-pass even though I only use the tollways for a month or so of each year. That saves me $1 a day when I'm working in the western 'burbs.
I made the choice to spend considerably more than 1/3 of my income on rent since the alternatives included roommates (the last one was not good), drug deals and gunplay outside my windows, or living in the equivalent of a small dorm room.
