But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

There was a great Sound of Young AMerica podcast a few weeks ago with Jonathan Coulton and John Hodgman. An extra had Hodgman's political attack ad against Coulton for failing to feed his cat, and then they resolved their differences.

ita! My sistah in Time Warner hatred.

I lost everything, TV and internet, which means phone also. So now the person who was working from home is actually working from the Bean.

There's a Bean in Israel? But yet none in Atlanta? That's so wrong!

And also, hee. I get that a lot.

Why did I agree to write this portion of the manual? I mean, yeah, I spend a lot of my day writing this stuff up anyway and I've written plenty for the online help, but hooboy doing it in one gulp is a pain in the ass. I predict that by the time I'm done, I'm going to be reduced to pointing and grunting.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

What, no trick or treat watch n post?

We got some! Okay, so far it's just been the one group of 2 moms and 3 kids (little witch, bigger ghost, tiny one whose costume I don't remember but he was adorably shy about the whole door scene), but we never EVER got any at the old place. Plus, extra cool points for the fact that I knew them all at least on sight, and also that it was the most multi-culti trick-or-treat group EVAR.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw some little cuties outside, trick or treating at all the stores. Also, I got a free sub coupon from the giant sub outside Subway!

But you know what I really like? Old-school small businesses. I walked into the shoe repair place, and walked out ten minutes later with both of my heels all fixed up! For six bucks!

I haven't had any kids yet, which is surprising. Last year I think there were about 30 by the end of the night, but I don't remember when they started.
