Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

It's Halloweeeeen! Best holiday ever.

This is very true.

Also my 6th anniversary of moving to LA.

Happy moving anniversary!

I'm finding this site strangely hypnotic:

a musical realization of the motion graphics of john whitney as described in his book "digital harmony" >[link]

in three minutes, the largest dot will travel around the circle once, the next largest dot will travel around the circle twice, the next largest dot three times, and so on. the dots are arranged to trigger notes on a chromatic scale when they pass the line

There's sound. Well, obvioulsy, I guess. Still.

officially, is it known as the Nobel Prize of Peace, or the Nobel Peace Prize?

I'm sure that there is an official English translation, but the absolute true blue official name used by the people who hand it out is "Nobels fredspris," which seems to imply "the prize of peace of Nobel."

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm finding this site strangely hypnotic:

Oh yeah.

It's also fun to listen with headphones. Some of the links have cool stereo effects.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I decided I do have a costume after all. I lost the little rubber end off one of my shoes, so walking through the uncarpeted lobby of my building, it sounds like I have a pegleg. So I am a pirate, just undercover.

I'm listening with 'phones. The primes sequence was terribly manic and schizophrenic.

ETA: Aaaaaaand I just got to the stereo section.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Curse you, wee Shrift!

Now I'm listening to all the Jonathan Coulton songs that worm my ears. (Currently, Ikea. Before that, Dance, Soterios Johnson, Dance.)
