We really don't like to talk about it.

I get it. It's like when the Klingons looked humanish. Let us never speak of it again.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I get it. It's like when the Klingons looked humanish. Let us never speak of it again.
Like Fight Club. Without the pretty.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone asked me if krav was like Fight Club. I said yeah, except the first rule of krav is that you have to talk about it all the time.

Are we going to get pictures of (you in) the Aunt E. costume, ita?

If anyone takes them. I just can't get motivated to do them myself.

Okay, must nap now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

(Dear energy-draining first trimester, feel free to end anytime now! No love, Tired Jess)

As JZ notes, she slept All The Time in the first trimester. In fact, I think that fact alone was enough to alert Cindy that Jacqueline was pregnant.

As I recall, Ple was the first person we told, but Cindy was the first person who guessed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

although once you get into the second trimester you can have a cup or two of coffee again

My stomach won't tolerate coffee at all these days -- I've switched over completely to tea.

Also, Jess, could I possibly get your address? I have a small wee item to send you. Oddly, I don't know myself exactly what it is, but I do need to send it to you.

Ooh, mysterious! Insent to your profile addy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

As I recall, Ple was the first person we told, but Cindy was the first person who guessed.

Cindy has strong pregnancy-dar.

IIRC, she suspected me for weeks before I spilled, based on an offhand remark I made.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Love the wheeled tortoise, and the Monkey pants. That reminds me, there is a toy store near work I need to go to just for the name (Cheeky Monkey Toys) alone.

Eating thai chicken pizza now.

This is what I am going to have! I am also having your staying home evening, but since I have slept more today than I did Thursday night, I doubt I will be asleep by 11.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee, monkey pants!

I'm not asleep by 11. Unless you count the time change, then maybe.

This is what I am going to have!

California Pizza Kitchen? All I could deal with given I hadn't defrosted anything else and I was at the store. Amazing that in a whole grocery store full of prepped meals, so very little is appealing. I have plenty of frozen, marinated chicken parts, bul goki, and turkey meatloaf, but I have to remember to take them out the night before, else it is pasta (though safeway's mushroom ravioli and feta-spinach stuffed rigatoni are good, they are emergency food.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That's what mine is, but I decided to have taquitos instead.

I desperately need to go to TJs tomorrow (Naan!) and somewhere to get fruit and veggies.
