(Dear energy-draining first trimester, feel free to end anytime now! No love, Tired Jess)
I was never more ready to sleep, particularly the first time around, Jess. For what's it worth, the second trimester of my first pregnancy rocked. I felt like a slayer. I had energy to spare, felt great, and all around enjoyed it.
Have you been sick much?
Shite! Me too! I gave up one race to do another but with my legs (Race for the Cure).
Good racing. I am on Komen's Grants Committee locally. Fantastic group!
There were a lot of cautions that they occasionally paused for some racing... Yellows just bred more yellows. Like bunnies.
BTW, new webpage with lots more photos of other things
Wow, some great pictures!
t goes back to poking around

More of a low-grade flu feeling than your classic television morning sickness. (Which, by the way, I would love to trade for. Three minutes of being pregnant in the morning and then looking and feeling completely normal the rest of the day until month 9? Sign. Me. Up.)
(There's a pregnant character on The Nine who's about as far along as I am, and the show has her waking up early to jog every morning before work. HA.)

Standard for a short/shorter track. And fairly typical of races at Memphis, I believe.

Thanks! My parents bought me an incredible camera last xmas.
And the Race was so much fun. I'm a cyclist so running was new to me.

Completely.
But they were green for about 45 laps at first and I got spoiled by it. Then three cautions in a row. Because they all wanted to win on the restart, of course. I don't know how many yellows they ended with, but they were flirting with a new record.
Still, fun watching JPM and next year should be good.
Need nap. And foot rub. Need cabana boy.
Tina the tortoise has been given a lift after being fitted with a suspension system and a pneumatic tyre to help her cope with muddy terrain.
I like Humans a lot more after reading this...

I agree. I'll probably watch more next year just for that reason. Although I'll probably be on the road during the day so that might make watching the races more difficult. I'll just have to stay put on Sundays.
Need cabana boy.
When you're done with him, can you send him my way? Legs so completely not used to impact. Back on the bike tomorrow but I think I might try another 5k race next weekend.

That's what I was like with Ben. I think I only got sick once, nad it was at night. I felt craptacular (and exhausted) for the first three months. I remember thinking I was like a newborn. All I wanted to do was eat, sleep, pee, and cry.

Ha, indeed. Well, maybe if I'd jogged before, but probably not even then, because if I'd jogged before, it would have been a vanity thing.
I've vaccuumed 2 rooms and had a bowl of fries. I think it might be time to go to bed.
