I'm very fond of that blog in all its scienceyness!

Art Crawl!!!

We have homemade bread, Brach's assorted choco covered malted milk balls, almonds and toffee in the office. I'm eating bread and chocolate and drinking coffee and I'm still feeling tired, sore and a little bit crabby.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Friday is on notice. I was on my way to meet a friend for a playdate. It's cold, gray and rainy. Guess who got a flat tire? With two kids in the van. Fucking fuck.

I managed to find the jack, free the temporary spare and to start jacking up the van by the time DH could get out of work and get there. It's a good thing he came because he had trouble with the lug nuts so there's no way I'd have had the strength to loosen them. Feh.

Van's in the garage, tire's in the back of DH's truck and he'll take it to get fixed after work. Liv's napping and Owen and I are snuggling on the sofa with tea and animal crackers.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a PITA, Cash. Sorry.

I'm eating bread and chocolate and drinking coffee and I'm still feeling tired, sore and a little bit crabby.

I've got to say, that's some extra-strength cranky to hold on through all that.

brillig

Slee-ee-py. Want to go home and slee-eep. Then play with the new drive on my computer and fill it up with goodies. And slee-eep. But Hubby's got the car so I might as well prop up my eyelids and do something I get paid for.

Bread and chocolate. Mmmm...I need some of that.

Does Triple A change flat tires? I'm wondering if I need a membership. We have emergency towing through out insurance company, but they don't mess with flat tires.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

ita, I'm sorry about all of the meds. I keep hoping they'll find a magic bullet, but it's a PITA to get there.

bows in the face of sumi's crankiness

Ooooof, Cash. Do you have any wine? It's totally 5 o'clock somewhere....

Yes. AAA is very worth it imho. Plus discounts on things like movie tickets, etc.

Does Triple A change flat tires?

Yup. I've called them when neither I nor burly cab driver could loosen the damned lug nuts. The AAAplus runs me only about $70/year and I've used it several times over the years for tows, batteries and tires.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Every time I watch Iron Chef, Bobby Flay loses.

That explains why my brother is so goddamn happy all the time.

I'm getting voteing spam for Ohio. telling me to bring ID to vot ein Ohio. That a long ride from CA

Yeah, but -- our voting is so fucked up that we don't care what state you live in. (Granted, if your vote is for the Democratic candidate, it won't be counted, and the poll workers are legally obliged to give you a wedgie on the way out.)
