That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Hey, Kat! Long time no read.

Been swamped. I blame Chaucer and Dickens. Who thought Grad School was a good idea again?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Kat, I'm desperately hoping you were asleep for the entire time in between your last two posts. Grad school is only a good idea if you aren't working fulltime as well, silly!

Well, it's the one doctor prescribing it all.

That's good. But still. I will just mention that they thought my grandmother had lupus for a while, and started treating it, but the lupus-like symptoms turned out to be a reaction to some other medication she was taking.

I just don't want to take it.

Well, yeah.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Every time I watch Iron Chef, Bobby Flay loses.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I feel subhuman.

Aw, ita. So do I. And yet, I'm at work. Mostly because, hey, only my third week, despite the roommate urging me to stay home. To be honest, I could do my job from home, but I don't know how to, uh, broach that at this point in my employment.

Also, why is it only on days what I feel like crud that boys fumble money and bump into walls whenever I appear? Is it the cloud of malevolence following me everywhere, or just my awesome outfit? I may never know.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac has new shoes. payless to the rescue, as I refuse to pay a lot of $$ foir shoes that will be gorwn out of quickly. velcro sneakers and some slip ons. He already had some gently used converse all-star lace-ups from a friend, so he is all set now.

No news on a new court date.

I've got all the addresses I need now. And they are carefully tucked into a real live addressbook, not living anonymously under the futon.

I really wish they'd upgrade my browser at work. (or web code would be more universal-access, but that's a dream I fear I must let die.) Apparently now, when I post comments to lj, I double post. And can't delete. And it does really funky stuff to some people's styles. So sorry all who get the stutter!

Wah wah, my office is cold, I am sleepy, and I don't want to work.
