It's in defining the group that I think many people go wrong.I'd agree with that much. I think that was kind of my point when I said that if the Nerve piece actually said it talking about people on Capitol Hill, I'd be okay with it.
But "white people who move to DC" didn't strike me as a particularly precise definition. And... my head hurts trying to follow the solipsism argument.

I meant the kind of people who move to DC and work on the Hill or in the executive branch, or related (lobbyists and etc.), who generally live in Northwest (or did, when I lived there years ago. Apparently my old marginal Capitol Hill neighborhood has finally recovered from the fires of 68).
Also, I don't know what solipsism is, so I will deny making any such argument.
