Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Happy birthday, Fiona!

30 Rock: My god, that was hilarious. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep watching after the dicey humor of the first two episodes, but this is fantastic. I was laughing the entire time. The only way it would have been better would have been if Tina Fey had actually turned out to be a lesbian. I think they made the right choice to limit Tracey Morgan--he was what was really turning me off from the show. Alec Baldwin, however, freaking owns the screen. the poker game was *fantastic.*

GG: This is the first time I've really, actively liked GG so far this season. I thought the stuff between Christopher and Lorelai was intriguing, and as much as I have whiplash from the character turnaround, from Luke to Chris, I can't say I'm disappointed. She seems easier with him. Less trying hard to be in a relationship, more just being in a relationship. And the last scene of L, C, and R driving home in the car was brilliant, for the first few seconds of peaceful family togetherness, and the the aching look of hope Rory got; to Christopher bobbing his head super-dorkily to the music; and then finally to the pickles smell. Wonderful. If the show sticks along these lines, I'll be happy to keep watching.

ION, training someone is frustrating and boring. I want it to be the weekend already.

I did! Though I didn't really do anything.

One new thing - I got a card made out of that really rough textured recycled paper. Except apparently it has flower seeds embedded in it, and you're supposed to soak it and bury it and eventually you get flowers. Weird - anyone seen this? Does it work?

Plant it, I guess, would the more appropriate word than bury.

I would imagine there are seeds in biodegradeable recycled paper, thus quick to flower.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Most important bit from "Top Chef": Did anyone else catch Ming Tsai checking out Padma Lakshmi's ass when she went to go get the losing team?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Suppose you allow 16 bucks a piece for dinner and drinks

At Fisherman's Wharf, during the holiday season? Dicey.

AHAHAHA! Ha. Ha... Boston is not San Francisco, but I know that places that hold 450 people screw ya on catering. heh.

Signed,

Have sat in on too many conversations with civilians who rail us on the per person price, told us that they can do better, and have come crawling back after getting even higher numbers on their own.

Also, I freaking LOVE fruitcake, we make one every year with the dark brown sugar and the brandy-macerated dried fruit and the spritzing with conac for a month and the OMG I can't wait! Soon!
