Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I totally wanted a turkey and brie sandwich for lunch! Maybe tomorrow.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm. That does sound good. I had ham & French swiss (which, okay, whatever) but it was not as good. It was okay. And I really need to be cooking now but I am paralyzed by not wanting to very much. So tonight when I get home, all whacked out and tired from the kids, I will be completely unable to cook, and we will eat Dr. Peppers and popcorn or something equally terrible.

Okay, that sucks. Maybe I will go cook.

The status is NOT quo.

I am compensating by sitting in my chair a lot and also, moving pieces of paper around. I expect instant success, any minute now.

Liese is also me. (And I'm in denial about the actual amount of work I have to do by Monday, so I'm going to pretend that they are really all very small tasks, yestheyareindeedy.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I had a fruit salad and a pumpkin cupcake.

I don't like that my office cafeteria makes many more appealing desserts than mains.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yesterday's cafeteria lunch was country ham and cheddar on foccachia bread, which was actually pretty yummy.

I think I've found the Bitches' mascot! What do y'all think?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm intimidated by one very large task: book a holiday party for 450 people on a maximum budget of $10000 somewhere in SF, including food & 2 drink tickets. Preferably in Fisherman's Wharf.

I don't want to pull in my favors for this & I don't want to call the hotels & talk to the overly eager event staff. Gah.

What color do y'all use for visited links on IE? I don't know why our IT department changed that setting today, but it did, and I can't remember what it was before.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Pajamas are perfectly acceptable gift for a (male) platonic friend who has everything, right? I'm not talking sexy pajamas, just some warm soft flannel jammies.

My friend Nathan says it's a weird (loaded) gift.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My friend Nathan says it's a weird (loaded) gift.

I don't think so.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday brenda!

Am currently fighting off the con crud that G has. Also wondering why my finger hurts when there are no visible injuries.
