I went in on the inside as I was much faster than him. He was intent on me not passing him. Locked 'em up. Came into me. Then spun in front of me. I almost t-boned him. Damage to my car is from the sharing of "rubber." I took the blame for the accident just to appease him, but I know people who were watching that said that it was all him, including the announcer.
Ah. I was trying to piece it out from two pictures.
I forgot how much fun historics are to watch. Need to see if anyone is running up here soon. I sense a trip to the track...
Something that is always funny to me no matter how many times I see it:
MST3K's "Poopie", which I made someone watch last night because she hadn't ever seen it.
MST3K's "Poopie", which I made someone watch last night because she hadn't ever seen it.
I think their thing on "Mr. B Natural" is about the funniest thing they've ever done.
Do they sell DVDs of just the MST3K shorts? They totally should.
Oh! Oh! And that Tomato Nation essay about the Roomba and her cats. Ahhhhhaaaahahahahahaha! It makes me cackle even thinking about it.
In WTF news, the Tomato Nation site is apparently "blocked for content", though b.org is not.
Um.
How can an essay about a Roomba torturing a pair of cats possibly be more objectionable than us?
I drag the roomba story out along with the youtube of the wavy kitten, orange thug POUNCE when I need to laugh stupidly.
I was just rereading the roomba story a few weeks ago for a giggle!
And of course, the famed Dogs in Elk.
I don't think I've ever sent the Dogs in Elk link to my mom--she's visiting next week, and since it's seasonally appropriate, I think I'll google the illustrated-with-pumpkin version of that story for her.
That "Slog" piece on Studio 60 makes it seem like an amusing trainwreck -- and really -- it wasn't amusing.
