Maybe it was the episode Zero,
::cough::CLUB Zero::cough::
(Hey, you never forget your first c0cksicle....)
I didn't watch Studio 60 yet, but I did read the whitefont, and I gotta say --
Who's on First
is NOT funny. It makes me want to slowly, methodically kill whoever is doing it.

I laugh pretty much every single time I hear it, including the Slappy and Scrappy Squirrel version from Animaniacs.
Also, Michael Mackean and David (memfault last name - the guy who played Squiggy) had a funny version using rock bands: YES, THE WHO, and THE GUESS WHO.

I think the reason I don't find it funny is that it's the embodiment of frustration borne out of shitty communication skills.
I know, I know. But there are whole areas of existence that are humor blind spots for me because I'm such an annoying pedant.
To prove that I do have a sense of humor, here is my list of Things That Never Stop Being Funny:
* Dick Cheney SHOT A GUY. In the face!
* "If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball." (To be fair, the funny part is the dude getting clocked in the head with the wrench 2 seconds later.)
* The Nextel commercial with the guys dancing to "Push It". (Hint: for best viewing quality, let the whole thing load first and then play it.) I can watch it on an endless loop, and it's funny every. single. time.
The Animaniacs routine used band names also.
That Nextel commercial is hysterical.
The thing about Who's On First? You've not only heard of it, you've *heard* it. Fifty-something man who is unaware of its existence? Come on.
Whenever I see Jeffrey Skilling's name, I marvel at the thought that this man is the brother of my favorite weatherman (oops, sorry--meteorologist!), who just oozes intelligence, integrity, and believability, in stark contrast to his slimy corporate weasel brother.
