I would really like S60 to be cancelled so I can stop watching it. It's not even a love/hate relationship at this point, it's an unhealthy-fascination/hate relationship.
Perzactly, plus it's on between HEROES and TDS/TCR (of course, what's my excuse for last night when TDS/TCR are in re-runs?), so it kills the hour I might otherwise give up, set up to tape TDS/TCR and go to bed.
However, I could also use that hour to watch, say, the DEADWOOD eps I'm trying to catch up on. Or even the DR. WHO I've taped, but noooooo!
Sorkin either needs to get back on the shrooms or give them up; I'm not sure which.

I was going to weigh in on Studio 60, but bon bon just nailed every problem I had with the show last night.
AmyLiz, regarding:
It's sharp dialogue without meaning, most of the time.
Without going into spoilers, I will say in a roundabout way, I think my problem with last night's show was it felt like everything had meaning. Which just felt ponderous. Every episode feels like it's striving to be something more, yet I find myself enjoying little asides from Matt or his wry reactions to things much more than the big moments.
