U of L? I have a friend at Brandeis.
UofL is 2 years of the 5 year plan (unless I end up in Vancouver then UBC for 2of5). I'll leave you guessing for the other three. And, you do realize that Brandeis in Waltham, Mass, right? Or am I completely missing a connection between Louisville and Brandeis?
Hee, I was trying to parse that one myself.

Good to know I wasn't the only one confused.
Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville. But hey, kudos to you on having a plan! I'm still working on that one.
Theo, I very much agree with you on most of your points. I did, however, like
the moment when Darius (new writer) comes on stage and DL and Matt just turned around, slowly, discovering something great.
Of course, that could be because I'm in love with
Darius.
But not entirely.
I don't know, I'm inclined to stick around because I like the dialogue, and it's interesting, and even though it's so stilted it's still better than a lot of the crap out there. But if my interest wanes, it's gone.
I have so many shows to watch this season that I probably wouldn't miss it anyway.

::red with embarassment:: I knew there was a reason I should recognize that. It's just that I almost went to Brandeis (Mass) for undergrad so my brain immediately goes that direction.
As far as the plan goes, got the plan just need to figure out where to go. I think that's the more difficult decision.

I think that was me. And SA, I keep turning in, because of what you mention
sans Darius, not because I don't love him, just because he's new so I can't blame him for me coming back for more. I am unreasonably attached to the Matt character, and find him, Danny, Harriet, Simon, Young-Writer and even Jordan and Wings-Guy fairly sympathetic characters. The dialogue is good. It's just the stories are crap, and story is probably my biggest drawing point.
I'll probably keep watching it, because it's the first show in I don't know how long (probably since I got over E.R.) that I watch, that actually airs at 10.

Eh, there's two Brandeises. Wont for confusion.
Studio 60: Someone was saying that the characters were great, and as long as they ignored what the writers were making the characters say and do, it was a wonderful show about wonderful people. I thought that was particularly on, because it's how I feel about things.
Studio 60: See, I got a whiff of ER last night, what with the Very Special Old Person storyline. Which was sweet, but completely unconnected to the rest of the episode.
The whole episode felt disconnected, in fact. It was a series of vignettes, really. I can't figure out if I like the show or hate it, at this point. I like Matt (or maybe I just like Matthew Perry's performance as Matt) but ... there's no there there, for me. It's sharp dialogue without meaning, most of the time.
I'm not sure how long it is for this world, either, if the reports about the ratings are accurate.

Indeed. And the one in Mass is Brandeis University, and it has a the Brandeis International School of Business. Yet another reason for the confusion.
So...how about that Holiday Crate & Barrel catelog? Anyone else get that today
DH knows me well enough to toss that thing into the recycling bin before I see it if he gets the mail.
For REALS. Lord knows we spend enough money on Christmas-related things that we have no control over. Also, lord knows I spend little enough time able to keep on top of controlling the crap that is already inside my house, before bringing Christmas crap on top.
