Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

That was my swan song, I am to bed. I shall play tomorrow instead.

Swouncing

Skipping and poking head to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Kate P's birthday. Happy birthday, Kate! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also, remember Rebecca Lizard? It's her birthday, too. I hope the well-wishes find their way to her, somehow.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I dreamed my roommate was yelling, "Aren't you going to FEED these cats ALREADY?" and woke up. The cats weren't even on the bed or in the room, my sleeping brain had just come up with it on its own.

Happily, it WAS actually time to wake up, so I suppose I can just chalk it up to subconscious knowledge of what time it was. Or else the cats are working on their projective telepathy again.
