Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish I'd been creeping! At least I'd be having some down-low fun.

Just harassed my anthropologist sister about concepts of gender. I feel better. Not because I've cleared up my confusion, but because I've gotten her down to my level of "Huh?" Stupidity needs company.

Heh. Next time ask her about ritual.

JARS. She sent me back with questions for you, and I don't really remember them.

Basically, my confusion is about what is tied to gender in a society we're looking at third-hand, as opposed to what is tied to caste or other striations of society. Can you help me out?

Also confusing me, but having little or nothing to do with gender is this page. I want a text message sent to my phone with flight information. Not an e-mail message, which doesn't seem to be arriving when I test it out. But that's the only update service I can find, from their Easy Update page--they even say text messages, which had me thinking SMS. Dizzy now.

Oh, never mind.

About the airline stuff. I even went and registered for a FF account, so I could get more options, and it's only telling me (as far as I can tell) about flights I'm on. Why would I want SMSs about delayed arrivals of flights I'm flying on? I mean, I know, and my phone is turned off.

Unless they'll SMS me about the flight's arrival at my departure point. Which...whatever.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That kind of sounds like the block-by-block Doppler Six MILLION weather promos. Dudes. I KNOW what the weather's like where I am.

I did too many chores and now it's too late to go to the screening of The Illusionist I wanted to attend.

I guess I could watch more TV on the web, or something.

Whatever is this pinching? Those darned diamond shoes again?

OMG, I just started watching tonight's TAR, and I'm hearting the coal miner wife: "I've never met an Asian person! I love these guys! We never knew gay people! They're so nice!" Sweet.
