Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Because she'll never talk to you about anything else EVER AGAIN!

(She's a big race fan. She's assimilated me, actually. SAVE YOURSELVES, PEOPLE!!!! Run Buffistas! RUNNNNN!!!!!!)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, what venue was the race (i.e. HSR, SCCA, etc)? Paul's been racing for quite some time. In fact, he was still competing in the 24 of Hours of Daytona just a few years back (though his age is starting to show on the track).
It was SCCA-sanctioned.

Actually Newman raced several times at Riverside when my dad was racing there too. Nice guy and loves him his racing. Even at 81...

His Champ team just won their third championship in a row yesterday at Surfers as well.

Hi, my name is Cass and I am a racing slut.

Airstream, you may come to regret having admitted you know this.
HUSH YOU!

When you're racing - it's life. Anything that comes before or after is just waiting.

I'm a huge race facefan too so I completely don't mind. In fact, the sheer reality that she (and you) (1) knows that Paul Newman races and (2) actually cares that he in fact races something other than NASCAR pleases me infinitely. :D

In fact, I was just at a race in Birmingham last weekend. HUGE RACE FAN!!!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Real or Photoshop?

[eta: Nevermind, I just noticed the URL on the image. D'oh!]

Still pretty funny, though.

Also, you can quiz Trudy, she is quite knowledgable. And it is fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Wow. Paul Newman - racecar driver and salad dressing connoisseur....

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I place the blame squarely where it belongs: Firefly.

If a single show is to be blamed for the industry-wide trend of abandoning theme songs, I think Enterprise would be the far likelier candidate.
