Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

American Society for Velociraptor Attack Prevention.

I'm not gonna bother. After all, if I get killed by a velociraptor then it's God's will and there's nothing I can do about it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

When buying a new home, there are a few things to look out for when assessing potential velociraptor attacks:

1. Check all doors and windows. Doors should be made of solid oak or steel. Windows should have steel bars with spacing smaller than the average raptor.
2. Make sure all entryways have adequate deadbolts. Quality deadbolts may be purchased at your local Home Depot.
3. Always keep a loaded big-game rifle under your bed, and tire irons near every door. Remember, you should never be farther than 20 feet away from a tire iron.

I thank God for my college math prof, who was also the head of the department. She was great about stopping her explanation of whatever if she spotted a confused look on a student, even in a classroom of 100 students, and saying, "What don't you get, because I won't go on until you understand it." It was probably one of the lower levels of math (basically pre-calc), so I was surprised to find out the head of the dept. was teaching it, but she was wonderful!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

OMG, now I have to worry about zombies AND velociraptors? Man!

Also, that article failed to mention if velociraptors can work old-style elevators with the cage-type doors you have to open, and then press a button to get to my floor. Also, do they have a good sense of smell, and if they smell the cat box that hasn't been cleaned in a while, will that attract or repell them?

Re: baseball. How much longer is the World Series? I tried to look it up but all I found were detailed stories about somebody's pitching hand with dirt on it and all that. I just want to know how much longer I have to do without House and Bones.

Baseball's off tonight, but they've played two games so far and it will go to a minimum of five games since they've split the two already played, so the earliest baseball will be finished will be Thursday or Friday (can't remember if they take a day off between games 4 and 5).

Swords are better, unless the velociraptor happens to be wearing chainmail.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How much longer is the World Series?

Through this week.
