I've really got to learn to just do the damage and get out of town. It's the 'stay and gloat' that gets me every time.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This sounds awesome: The Man Thing: Night of the Laughing Dead!!!!

...I present here for you now "The Man Thing: Night of the Laughing Dead!" (17mb, mp3), another "Monster Series" Power Record ("The action comes alive as you read!") put out by the Marvel Comics Group in 1974.

Scientist Ted Sallis has been transformed into a slimy humanoid creature via a potent mix of chemicals and swamp water. The Man-Thing lives in exile from humanity until a suicidal clown from a nearby travelling carnival ventures into the swamp. What ensues is an absolutely FRIGHTENING tale of ghostly intrigue and creepy clown pathos. Listen here -- if you dare!!!!!

"Creepy clown pathos" - cool!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Obviously, I asked the wrong question. What sucks at TJs? Anything?

So I think I've figured it out. Barometric pressure rise, crunchy sinus aches. Drop doesn't seem to do much though.

I don't like the lentil chips. Or the chili lime nuts (but everyone else loves them.) But I have not sampled much of their selection. I just get specific things I can't get elsewhere that I know I like.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My local TJ's carried Snapea Crisps, which are sort of like potato chips made out of... peas! Surprisingly delicious, and low in fat & sodium, too.

Man Ray could be a SciFi original series about a German Dadaist painter in the swamps of Florida. He teams up with a Weimaraner to Fight Crime!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sailaweigh, about a month ago, there's a "who likes what at TJs" discussion in my LJ.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've been told not to buy the Two Buck Chuck wine--apparently it's so bad you'll want to give a blow job afterwards to get the taste out of your mouth.

I also didn't like their frozen burritos. They reheated disgustingly, both by oven and microwave. Bought some noodle bowls (just add hot water) and they're incredibly salty.
