I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I'm home with a headache that I exagerated only slightly to call in sick to my boss. While it's not completely so terrible that I couldn't work, it's clamping onto my head like a determined whelk, sucking out all the joy and energy, making up in slo-mo suckitude what it lacks in vigor.

I have this same headache but I am at work, which suuuuuccckkkks.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Brenda, keep your head down and keep us posted!

Matt, ice and heat! Back-ma to you.

Our wings are not tired.

It's Friday and I am having focus issues so let me post my son's homecoming day pictures. He is loving being in HS so much.

XPosted in Bitches just cause he is so darned cute.

We have our first HS Homecoming week activities and such. Social butterfly that is my son is really into the whole thing. Except he won't go to the dance tonight because he won't ask anyone. Color me not surprised when he changes his mind at the last moment.

He dressed out for Spirit Day this morning. 3 pairs of sock in the school green, white, and orange. (yay for years of soccer that I had them on hand) And we did his hair. Yes, this is really his crazy thick hair. Please please please remember that the picture of me is at 6:30 this morning after I finished his hair and let us not mention it again.

The pictures are big, I didn't shrink them. Hopefully your browser will do that. I gotta shrink them before I send them to his grandparents.

Full length in front of fridge (it was still dark outside!) [link]

Another full length (this is what happens to those cute little babies) [link]

With his helpful Mom (he loves me so much today for doing this) [link]

End xpostyness

Have you seen Brendan?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, brenda, that's like something out of a soap opera. Are you sure you haven't accidentally shifted over to The Office AU?

Hah. You don't know the half of it.

Well, here's half. My boss just called the hotel to have them refax it because it was "illegible."

And Minion is on the verge of losing it at my boss for being pissed at him in the first place.

Still don't know if BigBoss has figured out or been told what happened. Though we do know that he didn't/hasn't yet picked the stuff back up from the front desk, I guess.

Can't decide yet if it's a good thing that I'll be out on Monday, when BigBoss is scheduled to be in the office.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Laura, your baby boy is a MAN! And he looks just like you guys -- cute!

Can't decide yet if it's a good thing that I'll be out on Monday, when BigBoss is scheduled to be in the office.

Probably good for you, but bad for us!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Is it wrong of me that I'm really intrigued by all the goings on at Brenda's office? I mean, she's not in the middle of it so nothing can happen to her because of it. (right, brenda? Dear me, I hope not!) This is fascinating.
