And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Runway -- I wasn't unhappy that Jeffrey won, but I was rooting for Laura. I *loved* her long lace dress over the skinny black pants outfit. OMGWANT.

I also thought that ALL of the models were having trouble walking. Jeffrey's were the worst (I know models aren't supposed to smile, but they're still supposed to look like they enjoy wearing the clothes, right?), but all of them seemed a little wobbly and uncertain -- I've never been backstage at Fashion Week, but I think the runway must have been just plywood over grass.

Punishingly Intricate

Sumi, my friend and I were saying the same thing about Jeffrey's models! WTF?!?! Except for Marilinda (? the one from the competition) they were completely awkward and lifeless. And OMG his music was terrible for a fashion show. What the heck?

Really I thought most of the models were terrible, except the ones from the competition.

I was also disappointed with Michael's collection. But even though I didn't look at the pics posted from Fashion Week I was bracing to be disappointed after last week.

I've no doubt, though, that they'll all have good careers after this.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm totally wearing my black lace dress today in honor of Laura.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She is. I saw it.

I'm trying to decide if I want to spend my extra hour plus a little here online, or wandering around Manhattan and window shopping.

For the past month or so, reaching flickr from work is problematic. Slower than dialup. Not quite as slow as USPS, but close. But I can't really blame flickr, since it's normal (for dialup) from home.

So I woke up 45 minutes early. Which gave me an extra 45 minutes to move really slowly and go fetal multiple times as I waited for the advil to kick in. Fun. Human design=really stupid.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, which one of you has a working teleporter, and why aren't you sharing it with the rest of us. In the past two weeks at work, I have done double-takes because I could have sworn I saw MM, Sean, and DX. Today it was Cass.
Ooh, ooh! I saw Cass in Chicago yesterday.
I hope I'm getting frequent teleporter miles for this.

t keeps reading

And what have you done with Cass?
Who? I just checked the user list, and can't find any such user name.
So first I try to post the other night and b.org goes away and now I don't even exist?

I need coffee to deal with this.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So first I try to post the other night and b.org goes away and now I don't even exist?

I think in the future you went into the past and killed your grandfather. So you don't exist, except in order for you to not exist you have to exist.

It's best not to think too hard about this....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

IIRC a selection of music is chosen by Bravo/magical elves and the designers chose from it.

I didn't love Jeffrey's collection, but the result was ok. I could see what they were saying about Uli and Laura, and Michael's was a pretty severe disappointment.

I miss Jay McCarroll too.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I wore the newest sweater I knit today. It is damn near perfect as a light fall day jacket.
