Now, every time I have brunch, I'm going to be scouring the room, looking for male platonic friends there together with no girls.
Heh. This does not work for me.
Dear Aaron Sorkin: Stop being so Aaron Sorkin-y. Seriously.
Play "spot the Aaron Sorkin avatars!"

Well you know, not that he would, but if
anyone could write a show about the UN and make it insightful, tense, and surprisingly funny...
Not that he would, mind you. But he could. Just so's we're all clear on that.
There's a story about Bindi Irwin getting her own wildlife show, and my first thought was, "In twenty years it's going to be 'Dr. Bindi Irwin, famed conservationist and daughter of the legendary Steve Irwin.'" Dad would be proud.
That's been in the works for a little while. In fact, IIRC, Steve died while filming a segment for her show.
Here the talk is about whether there's too much pressure being put on her to live up to her dad's example.
Just skipped like a mad thing to say that I am utterly amazed by those of you who consistently work lots of overtime. This day has been OMGCrazyBusy, and I'm just getting out of here after nearly 11 hours with about 1 five minute break. If I had to do this regularly, I think I would just die. Ack!
You know what really sucks? I'm partially exempt, which means I get no overtime. Blerg.
p.s.
Studio 60
is probably my favorite new show this year.
Heroes is starting to pique my interest. I wonder how far they'll be able to go with the non-linear before the network flips out.
GG: No matter what you may think of
Christopher -- he really plans a good date,
doesn't
he
?
The tone of this episode felt off. . .not sure why. And really -- they've got alot of the same staff as they did last year. (I was noticing.)
My feelings for Studio 60 keep getting stronger: (1) I like the characters, particularly Harriet, and I think the character stuff is the show's strong point, because (2) the sketches are NOT funny. They need to stop showing them.
Jess, any chance you are still around?
Sumi, yeah, that was sweet.
NCIS tonight was weirdly homoerotic. Not that I object, of course, but Bellisario is usually large with the Republican values and ridiculously overt heterosexuality, and not so much with the sledgehammer of hoyay.
I mean, did he hit his head? Are they losing female viewers? Is this part of some undisclosed discrimination settlement?
