GA: Yeah, I don't think
Izzy would have understood. She kept talking to Mer after the whole George thing last year, even after being shirty that they were helping Alex with his boards. So yeah, understanding not her strong point.
I don't see
McSteamy NOT being the pompus, shallow ass that he has shown himself to be. But I also think that Callie is confident in herself to know that and know that it's a fuck buddy thing that she's probably getting herself into, and even enjoy it for what it is. I do, however, think that Addison is gonna flip her shit when she finds out and her confidence and self-assuredness is going to go even further down the toilet.
(And also?
I LOVED the scene between her and Bailey. My love for Bailey continues to grow and grow each week and I want to be her when I grow up. Must make it a point to keep lurking around the Burbank Vons to catch a glimpse of her and her son.)
Ummmm....what else? I don't know. I was talking to my sister last night about the show as a whole, and I can't remember any BAD episodes. Any "Well, that was stupid" episodes. Is my selective memory showing again?
GA: I wish that
Meredeth had decided that she didn't want either of them rather than "realizing" that Derek is the one just in time for Derek to "sacrifice" his love and dump her. While she is still in RECOVERY.
WTF??? And I also agree that
Callie should have been a little more understanding and hey -- she sat shiva (sp? Is it really the same as Shiva? Huh.) for Denny -- she could have gone with George and made tea while they listened to that message.
I loved
Bailey and Addison.
I hated
McSteamy and Bailey.
I think that
Cristina is missing the point. I can't believe that Preston can't get a word in edgewise with either Derek - OR Cristina. Poor Burke. I forsee Disaster.
Aimee, are you still around? Did you get my phone message from last night?
I DID! Our phone and answering machine are dying a slow, painful death.
What numbers does she need? Waist = 36"
GA! OH OH OH!!
t bounce
Ok, when
Preston said, "blah blah blah You want Preston Burke." I would have loved it, and I think it would have been good character development for Christina to have shot back, "You are a good and kind person. You are a person that cleans up behind yourself. you are a person that cooks well. And I am an unbelievable slob. A slovenly, angry intern. You are Preston Burke. And you, you are the most competitive, most guarded, most challenging person I have ever met. And I love you."
I WOULD HAVE DIED.
Oh, that would have been good, Aimee.
That is so exactly what he needed to hear and I would have loved it if she had said that.
He also needs a swift kick in his self pitying ass.
That would have been much better than what they did, Aimee.
I got so mad at
Derek deciding to "walk away" that I had to pause the show and rant to DH for some time abotu how much I hate that particular plot device. NOT YOUR CALL BUDDY! So fucking arrogant. I hope McDreamy suffers for it.
Also, if
Burke doesn't tell Derek (or someone) about the tremors before he performs surgery, I will be so disappointed in him.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and a happy belated birthday to Matt and Cashmere.
I spent the whole day in DC on a "happy birthday to me" shopping trip. Clothes shopping was quite frustrating, but I had Lush and Sephora to pick me up at the end of the day, so that was nice. Plus, no traffic, and I only screwed up twice on the traffic circles!
