Will you marry me, Sara?
No me!
I'll do other people's dishes for money, not marriage!
Damn! But I get very good health benefits! And dental!

I don't cook with a microwave because I don't cook.
The first thing I did when I found BtVS in season 3 was go online and find summaries for every episode from the first two seasons, so I expect our perspectives differ.Heh. I suppose that's possible. But can I ask why you did that? Is it enthusiasm -- like, "Oh neat! Now I want to know everything there is to know about this as soon as possible!" Because that makes a lot more sense to me than the homework-y thing. I might have done that with B5, actually.
With no dishwasher we've almost completely stopped cooking at casa de bon Bob.
I don't cook, either. I have a microwave to heat up the things I'm eating that I didn't cook. When I try to cook, it's generally a messy, inedible disaster.

See, this is one of the many reasons why I love Cindy so much. I did the exact same thing, only it was S4. God bless buffyguide.com.

That's why I, personally, did it. When I get obsessed by new things, it's complete immersion.
Indeed, I'm a Memphian. Who knew that I would ever claim that? I'm here til December/January, and then I'm off.
I don't mind doing dishes, no big. Very often I'll be washing my cooking dishes out before I sit down to eat.
Yup, me too. I really don't mind doing the dishes. The fun part is, to people who hate doing them, taking that task upon myself seems like a big deal, so I get to both do something I don't mind, as well as being considered housework-heroic, especially in big family meals.
In fact, one of the strangest things about my USA trip was the lack of dishes to wash. I either used paper plates and the like, or had crackers and other stuff that needed no dishes, or ate out. For three whole weeks I washed maybe one bowl, twice, at deb's, and that's that. It was strange to realize how strange it felt.
Welcome, AirstreamNA! [Edit: it's strange - just yesterday I saw your tagline on the back of somebody's t-shirt, so my first thought was wondering whether I've already posted with you or something, because it was familiar.]
Scott and I just watched "The Story So Far," or whatever the little catch-up episode of BSG was, and we're definitely intrigued, possibly hooked. What season are they on? Is there is a place to get recaps/primers that are (much) shorter than TWoP's? How do people tell all the boys apart?
A word to people wanting to catch-up with BSG via Netflix: Make sure to get BSG: The Mini-series first (essentially a 3-hour pilot which answers most of the questions I've seen here), then Seasons 1, 2, and 2.5. I'm only on Disc 1 of Season 1 now, but I'm loving it and looking forward to catching up to Season 3 on my dvr.
Hate dishes. I usually want to eat as soon as the food is ready.
I re-heat inmy micro. Only thing I cook in there is baked potatos.
Bon Bon - any word on Bob Bob's jobs?
