And it's funny, because it's all "sleep through the night" and "new baby in the morning" in the posts, and I'm trying to calculate the time differences on my fingers to know if I'm supposed to lose patience already or if I should still try to pretend I'm a grown-up.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Lucy was leaping all over the cute Russian Peapod delivery guy in the elevator this morning. He laughed and said he had a 50 lb dalmatian but not to worry, she'd calm down when she got a little older. I didn't have the heart to tell him she's eight.

Hil! Sail! Lee! You too!

Hil, do you eat apples with honey on Rosh Hashana, as a sign for a sweet year? It's yummy, even if it doesn't sign anything.

[Edit: oh, Kat, I'm sorry about the hellish. But it's good to read that the one thing you really can't control, the students, is working out. Good luck with the un-overwhelming process. Or is it dis-overwhelming?]
