I have always wanted Bravo to have designer pages so you could check on things like this, just like ANTM does.
Totally. It's a mystery to me how the Bravo site sucks so unbelievably badly. And ditto about Uli -- clear point of view, etc. But Laura's stuff really does look like a collection already.
Thanks! New wardrobe, and I still have no idea what I'm going to wear tomorrow.
TAR:
Mary continues to impress with her enthusiasm -- she learned some Vietnamese! And some Chinese! And I love that other teams dislike Peter too.
Anyone else in New York having issues with TAR pixelating and whatnot, or is it my DVR fucking it up?
Oh no!
This was kind of a
rough leg, wasn't it? Not just rowing, but also climbing. I can't believe that Tom jumped out of the boat and TOWED it to the junk (junque?). And don't you think that if you had two people each holding an oar you might give a count so that you were stroking more simultaneiously?
I was fascinated by
how little water experience how many people had. I've never rowed crew, but I've seen enough of it to know that coordinating strokes is
a good idea!
I've been having cable issues all day, Jesse.
TAR:
I'd chalk it up to
killer fatigue...
stuff that you'd think through if you were working on 8 hours of refreshing sleep
instead of whatever they've gotten.
I'm surprised that
nobody lost a paddle.
So today's my dad's birthday. He spent the day disassembling the Pathfinder with my brother (who is in town with D, the nephew.) It is so perfect, it made me laugh. Dad and brother had a rocky, near non-relationship J's last few years at home. And now, J bought jacks and lifts for dad's birthday so they could spend it figuring out why the 4wd wouldn't engage.
Both parents can't shut up about how much fun D is. From mom, I expect that. She's kinda grandmazilla. But dad? He's really enjoying the little monkey. Makes me smile.
Dad's teaching a class he informally calls Revolutions in Science. I'm picking the hell out of his brain, and wishing I could take the class. He's doing Galileo, Copernicus, general relativity, Darwin and hopes to be able to hit quantum by the end of the semester. He's really enjoying it, which I love to see. He so often is burnt out by this point.
