You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That childbirth article was really good. What a fascinating look at such a quotidian subject.

It was a really good article. And I like the word "quotidian". I would love to use that in scrabble someday.

I know the Hallelujia (how the hell is that spelled anyway?) song has been done to death in closing credits. I know it is a blatant manipulation, because, damn, that song is good at that. But I still love Jeff Buckley's version. It doesn't manipulate me for the storyline, in fact, it takes me out of it. I love the story of it (always a catch for me in a song- a bizarre fav probably being Dylan's -fuck I can't recall the right spelling- Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts sung by Baez) and I love the mythology of it. Tell me a story, give me blanks to fill in, give me imagery, let me imagine. Even better suck in some common myths or tried tales. And it probably goes to the top of the list

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hm. I need to find a way to make extra money that doesn't involve working retail or selling my ass.

Ideas?

Whale Rider star is pregnant. Mmm. She's 16 and her boyfriend 19. They started dating when she was 13. I probably wouldn't have put that in the PR release.

Allyson, maybe a weekend job answering phones or light reception for a realtor or something like that?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sorry, this is funny as shit:

She will be seen next as Mary in “The Nativity Story,” set for release Dec. 1.

I know people who started dating as pre-teens and ended up married with four kids. First baby was a little later, though. Putting those two events so close together really removes any illusion of teenaged handholding.

If only they'd had promise rings or whatever the fuck those weird chastity tokens are called.

CV, I'm so sorry! I have read about your problem, but have no idea how to fix it. Do you have any, ANY, windows open that could be accessing the drive?

It's a thought! I keep poking around the net looking for something I can do to catch up on bills and save so I can visit my nephew over New Years.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Find one of those "We'll eBay it for you!" companies and see if you can get a part-time job writing item descriptions? I know a couple people who do that.

I'm walking over to the doctor's office to ask for information in the morning. I'm so not looking forward to being bullied, which I just know will happen.

What time? I'll come with.

Hooray for backup!

They're only open from 9-1, I was heading over at noon.
