I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Called the headache specialist. Told her botox didn't work. So she wants to give me MORE.

Oddly, I was talking about this (botox and migraines) with my mother just this weekend -- she was up here for a pain conference, and the last day was all headaches -- anyway, she did say it was normal for botox to take more than one treatment. Don't give up!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Another excellet Olbermann piece: [link]

Yesterday at a fundraiser for an Arizona Congressman, Mr. Bush claimed, quote, "177 of the opposition party said 'You know, we don't think we ought to be listening to the conversations of terrorists."

The hell they did.

177 Democrats opposed the President's seizure of another part of the Constitution*.

Not even the White House press office could actually name a single Democrat who had ever said the government shouldn't be listening to the conversations of terrorists.

President Bush hears… what he wants.

But (as usual for Olbermann) the whole thing is great.

ION, I have a new MacBook. Me likey.

Blerg. So downstairs neighbor smokes inside when it gets cold. I smoke too, just outside, so I really can't talk. But their smoke smell comes up through my kitchen. And I dislike it. The new filter fan helps keep it from spreading beyond the kitchen/dining room but yetch. I really don't like the smell of migrating smoke.

Lee, CBB = Celebrity Baby Blog.

I could snap Taylor Cole like a twig. No Wonder Woman she.

But she looked so lush and untwiglike on SPN! Also, hot, and not untalented.

Is there an air duct the smoke is coming through? Or just a crack in the wall or something?

sarameg - Oct 05, 2006 6:14:59 pm PDT #2345 of 10001

Crack in the wall. My best guess is that it is via the holes they made for the gas lines. Which I can't plug given my reticence about moving the fucking stove given past leaks. I hadn't had a smoking-inside neighbor before, so I'm not sure.

And the newish neighbors are nice. Retiredish couple.

Man, I hate living with people. Too hard.

Yeah, sometimes it's hard enough living with a cat....
