Proof my brain is stupid: I'm actually debating whether I want to go to a tropical island which I really like in late January, even if I have to pay my own airfare (though I may not have to, what prompted this was a friend trying to burn through some ff miles....)?

sara, you don't have to make plans - that friend you've mentioned seemed to already do it for you. Now all you have to do is enjoy yourself. Or "most of what you have to do", other than the packing and stuff, right?
