Good thing I have a trip to plan and a Teppy to insult.

And Guilder to frame for it?

Ack ack ack. Made it to the gym with no issues, but then was in a MASSIVE hailstorm coming back to my apartment. Get home to find that we're in the middle of a tornado warning too, but thankfully it looks like the worst of it has gone by.

Everything all right over there, Cashmere?

What makes marinara sauce different from all the other red sauces on the grocery shelves? Other than they have extra stuff?

Now tagless for your comfort.

We're holding up, thanks, Ailleann. Nasty, nasty weather, though. The worst storm cell was spotted in Hilliard but it's headed this way. Kids are in the basement playroom and I'm on the computer down there. We're nice and snug.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Tornado sirens are going off again. I think I'm shutting the computer off for a while.

Good good. We've still got sirens here, and I'm holding ready to head down the stairs in case it's necessary. But I've got WeatherUnderground on, and I think I'm good for now.

Hailstorms SUCK.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yikes. I hope you all stay safe.

Good grief. Hope it stays a wimpy wind. Isn't it late in the year for tornados? (I really have no idea, except all the ones I've been remotely near have been summer storms.)

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

What makes marinara sauce different from all the other red sauces on the grocery shelves? Other than they have extra stuff?

It's a tomato sauce with onion, and it shouldn't have any meat in it.

What is even happening?

Sheeesh, midwesterners, cut that out. How do things look for Illinois, Buffistas. My mum's there, right now.

What makes marinara sauce different from all the other red sauces on the grocery shelves? Other than they have extra stuff?

sarameg, as I understand and use the term, a marinara is just a simple sauce (although sometimes a spicy, simple sauce), without much more than the tomatoes and spices (sometimes onion, too). Ragu and bolognese are meat based sauces.

saucy xpost

Isn't it late in the year for tornados?

It is, but the weather is just ripe for it. It was in the 80s today, and in the last two hours it's dropped 12 degrees. Crazy impacting weather fronts!

The weather here hasn't seemed this severe in general though. (In my blindingly large sampling of one year living here.)
