I'm aghast that someone would pick I've Had the Time of My Life as a song to play at a funeral. Haven't the poor mourners suffered enough?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
And I would have welcomed her heartily.
She would be so much better at it than me, too. She could actually learn something, not just have fun.
Also, to bring things full circle, last night I noticed that Zach Whedon (Joss' brother, right?) was listed in the credits as an assistant to David Milch. (Everyone else probably knows this already.)
News to me. Nifty. Must be a tough job, given Milch's penchant for last minute changes.
Hey, popping in to say that I just found out that this video was shot at the rink I roller skate at. [link]
The rink does not usually have the neon tubes lining the walls, due to the fact that they would KILL YOU if you crashed into them, but other than that, it's the same. Go, Moonlight Rollerway!
There will be no saying of cocksucker to Nilly! It's just nor right!
Mea culpa. I hope I haven't corrupted/offended too much.

I really, really can't imagine any of those songs at a funeral. Well, except Requiem.
But I'm really one to talk since we had Yellow Rose of Texas played at my grandpa's funeral. Which made no sense to anyone out of the loop. He wasn't a Texan, nor had any special soft spot for roses. He just really, really, really liked that song.
The last two funerals I went to with music focussed on "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye" which now gets me so badly I choke up just typing the title.
Might be a black thing, or an American thing, but I'd consider it a pretty obvious choice.
We had Danny Boy played at my (very Irish) grandfather's graveside service. By a bagpiper.
If there had been any dry eyes left before he started playing, there damn well weren't afterward.

Those two and "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes will get me every single time.
"With Or Without You" is where I had to stifle my horrified laughter.
