An article in
Newsweek International
about how we are losing in Afghanistan. What's weird is it shows the covers of Newsweek in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the US. The Afghanistan story was the cover story everywhere but in the US. Here the cover story is something on Annie Leibovitz.
Does Newsweek think that we in the US just don't care about Afghanistan? Or are they afraid of pissing off rightwingers?
My vote would be the latter.

Shame on them for not putting it on the cover, here. Shame.
On MSN, they have a clip of Clinton giving a FOX reporter hell on Bin Laden. It's not helping me love Clinton any less.
No shit, he was amazing yesterday.
Oh, it's up on MSN??? Excellent. Somebody sent me a link to it on youtube but when I tried it - the link didn't work.
They played some of that on the radio while I was driving in today, Cindy. I love me some Big Dog. It's about time someone railed on those asswipes at FOX for pulling bait and switch interviewing. And, for not asking Bush or any of the Republicans the same questions.
Meh. I missed some really good news at work today. But it would have been much better news for me if it had come next week -- our fiscal year ends 9/30, and I had it in my FY07 plan! Drat. But also Yay.
YAY money.
I am in a very unlike me mood. more than a little boycrazy and flirty. it is not right.
msbelle, I met a new coworker's 18 month old son this weekend, adopted over the summer from Ethiopia. Darling happy bpy. May yours be too.
Yay money is right. Happy new year, indeed.
Ain't nothing wrong with being a little boycrazy and flirty, I say.
