Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm all kinds of PMSy right now.
Sucks beyond the telling, it does.

A backrub and a wickedly strong drink would do me wonders tonight.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm thinking somehting stronger than a drink, but yeah, self medication.

Mmm, stronger than a drink would be perfect.

Something in the comatose family for a few hours...

I am never able to be comatose before 2AM. Well, yesterday, but I was back up at 11pm and ready for a second go round.

God, my Dad's retirement payment was just reduced to 11% of what they were supposed to be getting per month. SO SUCKY!

Ah, I did this from 10 to 3 the other night. I hate that.

Going to try the sleepy/dreamy thing for the next while and a half... Sleep is such a pretty thing...

yeah Sue it is. 30 years with a company and his retirement check is less than half of what I bring home each month.

I didn't know they had found this out today after getting home from their visit here, so I called and it was so obvious that they both had been crying. MY PARENTS SHOULD NOT CRY EXCEPT FROM HAPPINESS!

Dear Delta Airlines - YOU ARE JACKHOLES!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

11%? That's fucked. I'd ask can they do that, but they evidently can. There's no commitment to an amount? I guess it's possible it could go up again, but...well, if it can, I wish that it does.

They especially shouldn't be crying so soon after your not-shower thing.

Went to a shower myself this morning. Very pleasant, glowy pregnant lady and doting husband who's pissed his wife doesn't exploit the "Well, I'm pregnant, so can I?" angle she could justifiably work. I reminded him he knew this about her when he married her, but he still seemed bothered.

Cutiehead.

Saw Fearless with Jet Li. It was indeed very much a final word on wu shu. I wish him the best of luck with his post-wu shu career.

Ate way too much food, but good ribs, and tres leches cake. And an expresso which really isn't affecting my sleepiness one bit.

Didn't have a chance to call my family today. I feel bad. I feel like I let most people down this weekend.
