Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would totally hug you directly, Jacqueline!

And did I tell the story here of visiting friends with a two-month-old? She was spitting up like she never had before, and the parents figured out that she had eaten more that day than she ever had done, and I pointed out that it was her first time overeating EVER! Poor little noodle -- everything's so new all the time.

What is even happening?

6. I LOVE EVERYONE.

If this weren't you saying so JZ, I'm pretty sure I'd say that's just the oxytocin talking.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Hee. Love it. Joy at the misfortune of others -- and pie! Truly, the best of all possible worlds.

The evil is this way?

I think the oxytocin is what put it in all CAPS.

Ack. TAR folks, if you're recording, it's definitely starting at least 15 minutes late tonight.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh, thanks for the heads-up! I'll have the Tivo tape an extra 30 minutes at the end.

TAR is actually 35 minutes late, FYI.

JZ, even I'd hug! Not just the newborn!

So far I've figured out that when my parents' phone is busy, I get dead air for 40 seconds before a busy signal and that they are currently out. Ah well, I'll talk to them tomorrow. I've been having amazing intestine-spilling conversations with them and the brother the past couple of weeks. Maybe I needed a break (normally talk to all once a week, at least.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

A useful thing: here is a web-based interactive menstrual chart, with a load of information for young women (and, uhm, older ones too) who might not want to ask about it.
