You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We actually have a co-worker who doesn't like any of her food to touch, period

You work with Alibelle? Cool.

Of course, were she here, she'd correct me and state that there are only some circumstances in which food's no-touchy for her, but really? This way's more fun.

Oooh, speaking of perfume, I just got the email letting me know that my latest order from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has shipped! Soon, soon I will have Candy Butcher and Brides of Dracula!

rubs hands together in glee

Oh, and I don't remember who it was that posted the link to skary.net, but thank you. Those little movies are brilliant.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

There was a 16-year-old boy in a class I taught last summer who seemed to drench himself in Axe -- could smell it from practically ten feet away.

Did it make you want to rub up against a toaster?

I'm glad I got to see skary.net earlier--and I'm glad you found them, Jilli, I thought of you (and I'm wearing my Perky Goth t-shirt). The IT folks are fiddling with our Internet connections, and now next to no pictures will show.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I have the Aspiration one on my computer as wallpaper.

OMG, those animations are fantastic! I think I need to add a link to them from the GCS links page. (Note to self: also add link to the page for Allyson's book!)

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I hate to break it to the honey lobby, but my plate of vinegar is attracting way more flies than the one with honey.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hey Hec, I haven't been around, so I just now read about Matilda's arrival! Congratulations! I know it has been stressful, but also very amazing I am sure.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor stressy JZ. Things will be much more settled for you guys awfully soon.

Forget it, ita. It's Chinatown.

Har!

I used to be much more militant about the food no-touchy thing, but I still don't understand people who take the small container at the salad bar, and then cram it full. Take the big container! Put one flat layer! Cripes, people.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

When I was in high school, I loved Chanel #5 or rose water, even though I was not yet a grandmother. Then in college I was all about the Calvin Klein, Escape and then CK One. Then I went for years with Jean Paul Gaultier, mainly because I was (and still am) absolutely in love with the bottle. I recently got Burberry Weekend which I adore.

Cool Water is the mens fragrance that still gets me a little weak in the knees. First serious boyfriend used it all the time.

I just had chocolate covered pretzels on Tuesday and they were the yum.

Matilda is gorgeous (and that's a beautiful name, btw).

And from way back, thanks for the link to the shoes, msbelle.

And now I'm done.

Oh wait, I want that "I'm cute. Buy me something." t-shirt. So. Bad.

Now, I'm done.
