This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

accckkk! I just scared myself by watching Mission: organization on HGTV. I have a very scary office space that looks almost as bad as some of these spaces. It really has to be the next big progect on the list

Always Anti-fascist!

  • love* Merry Fucking Christmas, Hec.
I would say I laughed like a drain last year, but I've never found USAian drains to be terribly festive.

Hec, (if you stop in before 6:00) Do you have any recommendations on where to eat/drink around the Fillmore?

Well, Japantown is right there. There's a place on the bridge between the two Japantown Centers where I like to get Donburi. But you should just go into Japantown Center and find a sushi place that looks good.

There's a karaoke bar in there too, if Juliana feels like wowing a bunch of salarymen on a business trip.

We can do that! (except for the Karaoke part)

Honestly, there are probably ten really good restaurants in there. The place I like (name escapes me, but it's right across from the bookstore as you go over the bridge) also has a huge selection of sake.

Sake and Joan Jett! The perfect combination.

God, I was just reading Jeffrey Lee Pierce's (of The Gun Club) journals and he was talking about getting bailed out of jail by Joan Jett. On several occasions. (This was the 80s. He's dead now.)

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Party is over, guests are gone, clean up is pretty much done.

Highlights -
Mom was surprised.
Lots of no-shows.
The "add a caption" pictures were a hit.
DH disappeared mid-party and fell asleep in our room.
Tons of extra food.
Last group of folks would. not. leave. (ok, they did eventually, but the normal hints that "party is over, mom is tired" did not work.)
Mom is happy.
I'm exhausted.

We have so much extra food, all the local buffistas should show up for Sunday brunch.

Great list Hec. It looks like I was only at one of them. Darn it.
