I swear, one of these times, you're gonna wake up in a coma.

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Now those perfectly sum up my holiday feelings. Can it be January now?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Now those perfectly sum up my holiday feelings. Can it be January now?

I will be posting my Wassail Up? fucked up xmas song mix sometime after Thanksgiving. Pick Hits: "Dead, Dead, Dead" from South Park, "Saddest Day of the Year" - Jill Sobule, "Put It In Your Eggnog" - Ice Cube; "We Wish You A Hairy Chestwig" - Ren & Stimpy, "Xmas in Tattooine" - Uni & Dr. Trucker, and "Merry Fucking Christmas" - Denis Leary.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've been trying to find the best way to tell my parents that I won't be going to Tucson for Christmas.

I wonder if just not showing up would work.

That was how I expressed my regrets for not wanting to attend my parent's first (huge) Christmas party. Didn't go over well though.

But I have been using that method for missing Thanksgiving for so long that they just don't expect me.

So it's a tossup.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I just had Skyline with Jess and her siblings (some of you met her sister at the SF2F). Yay! I like it when Buffistas come to me.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My brother just called me. The one who, last we spoke the day after Easter, screamed many nasty things and then hung up on me? Wants to know what I want for Christmas...

Season tickets to a minor league sport you do not follow?

It was two tickets to a midweek game when I was working a corporate job at a stadium a 100 miles away. Good times. I had forgotten about that...

Trust my rage

So, Ellie is asleep for the first time all day. She's been asleep for an hour. She's in no way ready to wake up but if I don't wake her up soon, she will never go to bed. I hate this dilemma - cranky baby now or wide awake baby later?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I hate that, Stephanie. It's a no-win situation.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

She's in no way ready to wake up but if I don't wake her up soon, she will never go to bed.

Aw, c'mon. How many times has she woken you up? Don't think of it as making her cranky. Think of it as vengence.
