Question: Will hiding in a cavern with stockpiled chocolate goods be any part of this plan?

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm getting the pig!

Hil, you could say that you're doing a group email because time is of the essence and that you didn't want to accidentally forget anyone. And you can easily work in (somewhere after what an exciting opportunity this is for you and the link) that you don't *expect* anyone to donate.

Keep breathing!

Hil, first of all - kudos on your Israel trip. What a great thing to do. I was in Israel this summer during the fighting, and the spirit of unity and the outreach to people in the hot zone then was amazing. Now the folks who lost homes, etc. are left with the work, without the same level of attention and help they had before. So kol hakavod on going over there to help. Stay safe!

Re: emails for funding - emails with a group of people in the TO or CC box (so that everyone can see everyone else's name and address) is one of my pet peeves. Since they're all your relatives, they might not care, but I hate having my address appear in an open TO or CC list. Just because I share a friend/cause/interest with the other people getting the email doesn't mean I want all of them to know where to find me, you know?

You can put something like "Hil's Family List" with your own email address as the address (in Entourage you would put "Hil's Family List " without the quotes) then put everyone else in the BCC box. They'll see that they're all on your "special list" (because of the TO line) and you'll save time, without shouting everyone's addresses to each other.

Good luck!

Avatar! I really liked it - but got tired of trying to weed things out and figure out what I had seen and what I hadn't - but it is on my list for DVD viewing if it ever goes there

Had 'em. Not my best look, and I have a cowlick right where a widow's peak would be.

Stickin' with the inverted bob, thank you kindly.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I had a great day today, shopping, playing with the nephews, and dinner with TCG's stepbrother and his gf. I think they're going to keep in touch with T, which is great. Tomorrow I get up way too early to fly home.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Fundraising dinner was, well hopefully good at funding the cause 'cause it's a good one.

I think I ate a few things tonight that I have never eaten before and I don't want to think any more about it. If I can't even identify based on animal, vegetable or cereal? The fewer questions asked the better.

Might have been flatworms for all I know. It was cooked in something with a base of chicken broth so I'm going to say that flatworms taste like chicken. Of course they do...

Then there was a soup that really unfortunately reminded me of a texture description that was either here or in Natter the other day.

Thankfully after the appetizer (really? felt more like appeterrorism to me) and the soup, things turned fabulous and much good eating was had.

But the best part was the family at my table. The son was apparently the one attending and he brought his Chinese parents, SomethingEasternEuropean wife, and his Amerasian daughter who was darling. They were lovely and made the conversation at our table of eight just flow and sparkle much of the time.

And I learned about "Asian Time" when the evening got way off schedule quite early. It doesn't look funny typing it but it was funny at the time.

Dayum, Plei. Smoking hot like a smoking thing. And Ticky is hopping cute like a hoppy thing. Amazing pictures.

Was slammed by a wall of PMS with bonus IBS just as I was leaving. Am now gronked on couch with tea, fire and drugs.

But I looked nice tonight and that is always fun. But my patiently straightened hair? Total ringlets. I think I might have to embrace the wavy and turn it into curly until we get past the rainy season. Wonder if I can get a shot. Will try after I post and edit as needed.
