You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Willow ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He gets part of it, he's only 10 so we have to go slow.

Yeah. The end of that episode was so damn creepy.

He really loves it though. He's got some pretty insightful ideas, all things considered.

That's cool. My ten-year-old cousin is also a big fan. Like, he pointed out continuity that I didn't notice.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

JZ fixed the espresso machine! She called the help number and they said, "Oh, the first time it sometimes takes 10 tries before the pump will prime. Just keep hitting that button." I only hit it about 8 times, I guess.

Anyway, it makes very good espresso which is perfect on such a drizzly gray day in SF.

I took Matilda with me on an outing downtown, braving the rain with a Baby Bjorn and an umbrella. I met ex-minion and went to my old temp agency (where I started 20 years ago - I know the owner very well). Owner was very happy to see the babe and got me some quickie work on election night sorting ballots. Woot! Money is good and it's time and a half.

Exactly. (Plus he got the RNA symbol running through Heroes before his dad did. HA!)

Now tagless for your comfort.

Excellent!

DH made tacos for dinner and I'm catching up on Heroes. I'm toying with the idea of going out for pumpkin pie (and whipped cream, natch).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Ooh! Other Avatar fans! I just got hooked on the show. P-C, your tagline made me laugh until I was in pain when I first heard it on the show.

Anne, I was eating dinner, and I had to pause in order to laugh for a solid minute and to keep myself from choking. I still laugh every time I read it or think about it.

You should check out my pimping post about it, as well as some of the comments.

This conversation will be pretty interesting, whereas this one is a bucket of hilarity. There may be spoilers for the second season, though, if you haven't seen it yet.

Thanks! BTW, should I wind up commenting over there, I post as "sophiap."

I have seen all the episodes, and I have already committed fic.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Plei, Lilybean has been thefted and put in a Gain commercial! Or her Dopplealmostascuteganger has at least. Are you getting royalties?

In poor me news, I have a fundraising dinner to go to tonight and I don't wannnnnnnnnna! Given that it is cold and raining, I am thinking I need to plan a lot of extra time to get there too. So I should shower and get all PublicFace starting, oh, about fifteen minutes ago.

ahem

It's for a good cause. It's for a good cause. Lather, rinse, style, put on makeup, and clothes, repeat.

Thanks! I was trying to remember, since I know you've said it's weird and not intuitive from your Buffista name.

I have seen all the episodes, and I have already committed fic.

Wonderful! What do you tend to write? I can send some friends over if I think they'd be interested.

Heh. I write a variety of genres, but so far I've done one Zuko-centric piece that I'm rather fond of. It's posted here if you're inclined to check it out.
