Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I really try to send hand-written thank yous. I love cards and pens and stuff, and it's the only time I ever actually use those instead of emailing. So it's more a treat than a chore.

oh, me too. I have so much pretty stationary. I would use it more often, but I want to send it to people that appreciate it.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I will say that it has never bothered me to receive a thank you e-mail or phone call rather than a card. Not as in "that's OK" but as in: "they thanked me : how nice" and it does not even occur to me think about what form the thank you took.

move out and draw fire

That's a cute Halloween bear!

Halloween is pretty much over for us - we had our party on Saturday. 90 people invited, 30 RSVPd, 25 of those said they'd be there, 20 showed. WTF? Would it kill people to regret?

But yeah, anyway, the Christmas bazaars start on Wedsnesday.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Tell me you love me...
I love Laura!

Calli tat pretty!

When my little brother was five (probably almost six), he figured out a short-cut that he was VERY proud of. He shortened all of the Uncle _______ and Aunt _______ to "Dear Uncle and Aunt [Uncle's first name]." Mom was mortified and was going to make him redo them. Dad thought it was hysterical and had them sent that way.
That is precious!

oh, me too. I have so much pretty stationary. I would use it more often, but I want to send it to people that appreciate it.
I finally started using some of mine. Of course some of the stuff I truly love? Still hoarding. But I am trying...

I think everyone is napping

ok it is still quiet.

so last night I had one of those annoying repeat dreams - I just kept dreaming the same thing over and over. for some reason I was reviewing vampire C. V.s. Why would a vampire have a CV? and why a CV and not a resume?

beth - last night CJ had a major nightmare. Enough to bring him downstairs jibbering at DH. DH couldn't calm him down or figure out the topic of the dream, so CJ came to me. I couldn't get him to calm down much either and ended up just snuggling him until he crashed again. Now I'm thinking he shared your dream.
