Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 32: I think I'm sobering up.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm going to have a small glass of port, watch Scrubs and Entourage and pass out.
Bigger glass, more pass out.

Hopefully D will feel better tomorrow, sj. Snuggle those babies but good now that you are there.

Have wine. Have fire. Have cleaned Puppycat's eyes of goop. Have shot and fed Kittenish. Have sleepies. Have zzzzzzzzzzzzzz's

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

emily, no worries. we have been thinking about bringing stuff to you, but umm... that's as far as we have gotten.

It is 830. and we are thinking of bed and sleep. My goal - make it to 9 930 would be good, but not likely.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I tried the snuggling, but David was too hurty and I can't catch Jimmy to snuggle him. However he is having so much fun showing me all his tricks and copying everything I do. He seems to remember me which makes me so very happy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No worries on my part either, Emily.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'm very bad at thank you cards. I'm trying to raise Lillian to send them, but honestly, they're utterly foreign to how I was raised. It doesn't come naturally to me to send them *at all*, and I bristle a bit at the notion that this makes me less of a civilized person.

Except for the raising Lillian part, this is me. I'm STILL horrible at thank you notes; partially because I've got a horrible track record for mailing things off, but mostly because I just don't think to write them. I mean, I'll send off giddy e-mail thanking people for things, but hand-written thank-you cards? I don't manage those very often.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I don't think I've written a thank you note for a gift since my wedding. I do, however, write random ones to thank people for their general awesomeness. The best was when I wrote all my girlfriends to thank them for being them and made them all goddesses and wrote little prayers for them.

Port's too sweet for a big glass of it. I need an actual port glass, as this one's bottom is too thick for me to warm.

It took me ages to get the note I made you not only made but written and then sent. Only the fact that I knew it should only be sent to you made me finally get it finished and sent.

True. Occasionally I like the chocolate port. Can't recall the name though. It was lyrically dessert...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We repainted the master bedroom over two years ago. This included adding a wallpaper border about halfway up the wall.

I just did the last bit of wallpapering today. I had missed one section and JUST FINALLY took care of it.

Do I get a prize now?

I'm getting the pig!

Do I get a prize now?

Yes!

You get the joy of knowing that your wallpaper border is finally complete.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Ok. My outside cat, Sabrina, has occasionally left lizzard bits and bird bits on our porch. Tonight I let the dogs out before bed. There is a HUGE DEAD RAT disemboweled on our welcome mat. The human is not pleased no matter what the cat might think.
