I can tell Matilda is horriffied by my slacker ways

She totally facepalmed herself all because of you. She's appalled that you haven't followed her example and set yourself a rigorous schedule just like hers. Between the sleeping, the more sleeping, the naps, the nursing, the diaper soiling, the drowsing, the zonking out, the collapsing, and the random fits of crazy mime face, hand jive sessions, and staring in befuddlement at her parents/her sibling/the fairy lights in the hallway, she is a very busy woman.

I think I need to nibble those fingers, and toes, and nose...

You'd better come visit right quick -- I don't know how long we can hold out before she gets all et up with love.

ION, go team me! I have a nice fresh crop of stretch marks! Why they just popped up now, almost 4 weeks after the whole business was over and done with, I don't know, but for right now I'm just ridiculously relieved that they're only stretch marks and not the sign of some dread infection.

So very much -ma to Matt and his mother, both of whom deserve happier times.

eta: Holy moly, look what happens when I take a half-hour nursing break between writing a post and posting it! That's fantastic news, Jess! Congratulations to you and Ethan! And now I have someplace to pass along all the lovely baby things the Buffistas have passed along to me, once Matilda has outgrown it. There's lots of stuff full of love and vibes and -ma from Buffistas (and a couple of Bronzers) all over the world, and now it has a fit and proper home to go to after this one. Yay!

things dried well - and although we really would love to pull up the rug ( shudder) I think it will have to wait until spring - just in case the gaps in the subfloor are big/numerous and heat becomes a problem. so I am pretending I am walking on air - there is nothing beneath my feet in the kitchen.

I am missing things, but I am blaming it on way too much wine today. ~ma and hugs to all who need it. We went up to a vineyard today, saw lots of pretty Autumn leaves, and tasted lots of yummy wines, took a wine tour, tried to shop in a couple of towns where the shops all closed at 5 (crazy!), and then went out to a yummy dinner. We just got home.

JZ, there's a huge pile of Baby Clothing that needs to go your way. Most of the 0-3 went to a RL friend, but then her baby (7 months Lillian's junior) caught up to Lillian in size, so I've got plenty of 6 month and up sizes, and a few wee things still.
